What is Midnight Tech Inc? - top

Midnight Tech Inc. is an Information Technology Service Company. We build new computers, servers, networks, databases, and websites. We do the big jobs (for companies) and the small ones (residential). We bring a personalized feel and do truly care about your situation. We want to help and we stand behind our work. We do everything imaginable to make sure you won't have to call back. But if you do we have a labor warranty.

  1. Midnight Tech Inc. has been operating since October of 2003 and is not leaving any time soon.
  2. How did it start? That is a really long story. Ask about it during our next visit.
  3. Midnight Tech Inc. is composed of two teams. One team is composed of a group of technicians that is supported by a second team of people who coordinate everything.
  4. High speed - low drag. We schedule work as we can perform it. This means if we are not busy you will get your situation addressed quickly. We run this shop like a doctors office.
  5. Virtual office, payment systems, and ability to have virtual meetings. We do not pay for a building. We built our website with all of the tools neccessary to manage our relationships. We have a state of the art phone system that allows us to remain mobile - working from your location on your problem. This gives us a huge advantage because a lot of the times the environment plays a role in the problem.
  6. Distance - not an issue. If it turns on and you have internet access we will spend the time with you over the phone. Our phone system also provides us with special software to allow us to collaborate with you. We can even request access from you to view your desktop. That can allow us to work on your computer.
  7. Ship In Repair - you can schedule a ship in repair over the phone. We charge the first hour in advance and bill that to a credit card. You send us your equipment. We have it done in 3 business days and back in the mail to you guaranteed to work.
  8. We back up all of our work with a 30 day labor warranty which is equal to the value of the initial work performed. We will work the problem again for free if it did not correct the issue the first time around before the end of the 30 day period.
  9. Midnight Tech carries general liability insurance with the Hartford. Please know we are serious about your property and have taken every precaution to insure everything we touch.

What services do you offer? - top

  • We offer computer repair, upgrade and replacement.
  • We repair and install networks (this includes wireless and business networks).
  • We provide web site consulting and design.
  • We have over 4,000 products. These include computer components, as well as notebooks and consumer electronics.

Will you pick up my computer? - top

Yes. In fact, we prefer to save you the trouble of lugging it around!

What do you charge per hour? - top

  • All customers receive a free 15 minute on site consultation. We prefer to gather information during this time so we can provide a realistic quote based upon your needs.

  • Residential or Non - Profit Organizations

    • A $65 fee will apply to the first hour. We will spend the entire hour on your system even if we fix the initial issue in less time. Midnight Tech takes pride in delivering only the best service possible. We value you as our customer and feel that you should have what every technician can provide. Networks, Laptops, Desktops and Electronics that improve your life instead of complicating. After the first hour if work continues the additional labor is just $40 per hour and is broken into 15 minute blocks ($10 each).

  • Businesses, City, State, and Federal Government

    • A $65 fee will apply to the first hour even if work ends before the end of the hour. Additional labor will be charged at the same hourly rate. It will be broken into 15 minute blocks.

Travel expenses? - top

Currently there is a mileage fee of 50 cents per mile for every mile our technician travels during the execution of their work for a customer. This mileage fee is necessary to recover part of the cost associated with the amount we currently pay our technicians (55 cents per mile). We hope you are as happy with this. It is necessary to charge a small fee so we can keep our vehicles running and our technicians happy with their arrangement.

Do you offer special packages? - top

Yes!  We have special packages for web site design

What if the appointment lasts only 1 ½ hours, will I be charged  for 2 hours? - top

No.  The first hour is always charged, however we will subdivide each hour that follows into 15 minute segments so you are not charged for the remainder of an incomplete hour.

Do you perform on site computer services? - top

Yes! We are available Monday through saturday. Please see our web schedule for technician availability or call us at 618 985-5455.

Do we have to order computer components from you for you to install them? - top

No.  We would gladly install a component that you bought from a retail store.  If you are thinking about purchasing from a retail store, please check with us to see if we can offer you a lower price.  We offer over 4,000 unique products and we will ship directly to your doorstep. 

Do you offer free consultations or estimates for insurance companies? - top

Yes! We are happy to look at your computer at no charge and give you an estimate of what it will cost to repair your computer. This takes place during the first 15 minutes of your on site consultation. We we offer estimates to your insurance company at no cost to you. We hope that when it is time to put our quote into action - you will call us back.

Do you have references? - top

Yes!  We have many satisfied customers that would be happy to speak with you!  Please call us for references.

What type of payments do you accept? - top

We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.  All payments are due immediately after the service has been completed unless worked out beforehand.
